For families and friends looking for fun on the ocean, look no further than West Oahu's state-of-the-art activity boat. During the tour we cruise along the leeward side of Oahu to view dolphins in the wild followed by snorkeling with turtles in their natural habitat on the West Coast of Oahu, where wilderness still remains untouched. After that, we break out the water toys: Glide across the water on kayaks, balance on stand-up paddleboards, or take a thrilling ride down our double-decker waterslide.

What to Expect

Our WiFi-equipped shuttle will transport you on the one-hour drive from Waikiki to Oahu’s West Coast, the dry and cloudless leeward side of the island. During the drive, our local tour guide will provide an important briefing and answer any questions you might have. We then arrive at Waianae Harbor where you are welcomed aboard our state-of-the-art new boat!

Boating outside the harbor we enjoy the West Side coastline views. The west side is known by locals as the Waianae Coast, renowned for its rugged natural beauty. Featuring long stretches of pristine beaches flanked by the dramatic Waianae mountain range the area provides a tranquil escape from the more tourist-heavy areas.

As we cruise along, we are in search of dolphins. They are easily encountered because Spinner Dolphins stick to their highly structured daily routine, where they spend their nights actively hunting for food in deeper offshore waters. Then, during the day, they return to the shallow bays of the West Oahu's coastline to rest and recover. Here we observe them from a respectable distance as they show off spectacular acrobatic displays, of barrel rolls, backflips, and belly flops. The time we spend watching the dolphins varies with many factors, but usually is around 15-30 minutes. When we motor away the dolphins often will “bow-ride” and surf along with the boat too, swimmings along and riding the waves created by the moving boat effortlessly in sync with the wave's energy.

After that, we continue on to one of the finest coral reefs in Hawaii. This less developed region of the island offers crystal-clear waters due to it receiving less rainfall than the rest of the island, reducing freshwater runoff, keeping the waters pristine and inviting. Here you will snorkel in an underwater world with tropical fish, sea turtles, eels, and spotted eagle rays over the vibrant and healthy coral reef.

Next, paddle our kayak or stand-up paddle board, and speed down our famous double decker water slide for an exhilarating experience that combines the thrill of height with the refreshing splash of water. For those preferring relaxation, our spacious boat offers plenty of room to unwind and soak up the sun.

After a fun-filled day in the ocean, enjoy your complimentary snack pack, which includes six snacks, juice, and a bottle of water. The day concludes with a live performance of ukulele and hula by our talented crew, encapsulating the Aloha spirit and rich cultural heritage of Hawaii.
