What to Expect

Just minutes after leaving Keauhou Bay, you'll arrive at Manta Village, one of the world's most reliable places to encounter these gentle giants. While the crew prepares the floating light raft, the sky gradually darkens into night, setting the stage for one of Hawaii's most unforgettable wildlife experiences.

Once in the water, you'll hold onto the illuminated raft as powerful beams of light attract microscopic plankton. It doesn't take long before graceful manta rays emerge from the darkness, swooping, gliding, and barrel rolling just inches beneath you as they feed. With only a small group onboard, everyone enjoys an intimate view of this incredible underwater ballet while your guides ensure you feel comfortable and safe throughout the experience.

After an unforgettable evening with the mantas, the adventure isn't quite over. Your zodiac speeds back across the bay under the night sky, adding one final burst of excitement to an experience that's equal parts adrenaline, wonder, and awe.

• Comfortable swimming and able to tread water.
