  • Current Trans-Pacific Travel, All individuals traveling from out-of-state (both visitors and residents alike) required to get Valid COVID-19 test within 72 hours prior to trip, and show proof of negative result to avoid 10-Day quarantine. Travelers also will have their temperatures checked upon arrival and must fill out the Safe Travels travel and health form. No testing will be provided upon arrival at the airport. Travelers who fail to provide a negative test upon arrival will be required by law to quarantine.
  • Current Kauai Travel, All incoming travelers to Kauai are currently subject to a mandatory quarantine, regardless of any pre- or post-travel test. The quarantine includes visitors AND residents flying from the mainland and interisland. Pursuant to Governor Ige’s 17 th Emergency Proclamation, the travel quarantine has been reduced to 10 days, effective December 17 th. This shift will be enforced retroactively. That means all incoming travelers who arrived on December 7 th or later, will only be subject to a 10-day quarantine.
  • Current Maui Travel, Inter-island passengers heading to Maui can avoid the 10-day quarantine if they complete an FDA-authorized Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT) from the certified CLIA lab of a trusted testing 72 hours before arrival.
  • Current Hawaii Island Travel, Both Inter-island and trans-pacific passengers arriving on Hawaii island who have chosen to participate in the state’s pre-arrivals testing program also must take a county-administered COVID-19 antigen test upon arrival and test negative to avoid a 10 day quarantine. Or guests can apply for a singular post arrival Post-Arrival test: Persons subject to the 10 day self-quarantine may arrange for and break self-quarantine to receive an approved COVID-19 test while in mandatory self-quarantine. Those persons who provide written confirmation of a negative test result from a State approved COVID-19 test will be removed from quarantine.   • As of October 22nd, Island of Oahu is in Tier-2 of their reopening plan. Retailers will be able to reopen at 50% capacity and households will be able to have small gatherings at beaches and parks of no more than five people. Those not in a household will be allowed to go to the beach, a park or on a trail with one other person. Most tours and activities will be available. Restaurants dine in service, bars, gyms, and all other businesses will be open at limited capacity.

Boat tour operations will be running at half capacity in order to allow for social distancing and separate households will be asked to sit on opposites sides of the boat.
