  • Currently, all trans-pacific travelers arriving to the State of Hawaii are subject to a mandatory 14 day quarantine. Upon arriving to the airport are subject to temperature checks. Travelers must then declare their quarantining location to authorities. Travelers quarantine status will be checked on by authorities via daily online applications and routine phone calls. Random visitations from Honolulu Police Department are to be expected as well.
  • Beginning October 15th, All individuals traveling from out-of-state (both visitors and residents alike) required to get Valid COVID-19 test within 72 hours prior to trip, and show proof of negative result to avoid 14-Day quarantine. Travelers also will have their temperatures checked upon arrival and must fill out the Safe Travels travel and health form. No testing will be provided upon arrival at the airport. Travelers who fail to provide a negative test upon arrival will be required by law to quarantine.
  • Currently, the Island of Oahu has instated an island wide lockdown of nonessential commercial activity. This lockdown is in effect until September 24th when it is scheduled to expire. All non-essential business (including activities and tours) are closed.
  • Beginning September 24th, Island of Oahu retailers will be able to reopen at 50% capacity and households will be able to have small gatherings at beaches and parks of no more than five people. Those not in a household will be allowed to go to the beach, a park or on a trail with one other person. Some tours and activities will be available. Restaurants dine in service, bars, gyms, and all other businesses will remain closed.
  • As of August 11th, the mandatory 14-day interisland self-quarantine has been reinstated. Anyone traveling in state to Maui, Big Island, or Kauai counties must quarantine. Anyone traveling to Oahu from Maui, Big Island, or Kauai counties are exempt from quarantining on Oahu but must quarantine when returning back to the neighbor islands. The interisland quarantine continues through September 30th unless it is terminated or extended by a separate proclamation.

Boat tour operations will be running at half capacity in order to allow for social distancing and separate households will be asked to sit on opposites sides of the boat.
