We recently swam with the Wild Spinner Dolphins of Oahu. Their name derived from the acrobatic displays above and below the water. They are known for jumping out of the water and soaring through the air, spinning as many as 6 rotations, before flopping back down. Learn more about Spinner Dolphins in this blog post.

Haleakala Summit features some of the most incredible views in Hawaii. The road that leads up to the observation center is accessible for all visitors to come and take in the splendor of being on the top of a mountain above the clouds. But this day, we were interested in a more grand adventure into the wilderness, camping in Haleakala.
