As the sunsets over the pacific and the tiki fire torches are lit, the show begins to take you on a majestic journey through Polynesia. This is Waikiki's only Oceanfront Luau and Hawaii's only Farm-To-Table Luau.

Enjoy the Most Exclusive and Authentic Lu'au on Oahu. Located conveniently at the Waikiki Aquarium, just walking distance from the hotels, this limited 250 person seating is the smallest Luau on the island. The personable and knowledagable performers take pride in interacting with their guests during the luau celebration.

In ancient Hawaiʻi, it was customary to celebrate special occasions with ʻOhana (family) and friends. We at Diamond Head Lūʻau continue this tradition. All of our food is locally grown and prepared right here in Hawaiʻi.

Unlike the traditional buffet or table service, each part of the meal will be presented at unique stations. Starting with delicious pupus (appetizers) available when you arrive and as you are participating in our cultural activities.

Prepared to become enchanted by the history and culture that helped form what the Hawaiian Islands are today. Enjoy multiple interactive activities for some fun with the staff before the big show begins. All the while learning about the Hawaiian Culture.

Dinner Menu

Kalua Pork - This is a savory traditional Hawaiian dish. The Umu (above-ground oven) cooked pork meat falls off the bone, and is typically very tender and moist, with a slightly salty, smoky flavor that is just delicious.

Huli Huli Free Range Chicken - Hawaiian Style Rotisserie Chicken. "Huli" means to flip over, which is exactly what the chicken is doing. Rotisserie done over a hot kaiwe wood flame.

Vegetable Curry Stew w/ Crispy Aloha Farm Tofu - Gluten Free & Vegan

Grilled Kunoa Cattle Co.Bone-In Beef Short Ribs - A Korean gourmet bone-in short rib that is a local favorite. Cut length wise along the rib bones for a delicious marinated strip of meat.

Fresh Ahi Poke - Tender cubes of raw freshly caught Ahi Tuna from Waianae Harbor Oahu, marinated with sea salt, soy sauce, sesame oil, limu, and a dash of magic to make this traditional dish one of your favorites.

Lomi Lomi Salmon - A cold side dish in Hawaiian cuisine, it is a fresh tomato and salmon salad, prepared by mixing raw salted, diced salmon with tomatoes, sweet gentle Maui onions, green onion, and occasional flakes of red chili pepper.

Traditional Poi - Poi is the staple of the traditional Hawaiian diet. It is made from the corm of the taro plant by mashing the cooked taro until it is smooth. It is of purple color and slightly sweet.

Local Salad Station - Local mixed greens from Nalo Farms, Ho Farms vine-ripened tomatoes and fresh cucumbers, and Kula Baby Romaine Ceasar Salad. Garnishes include garlic croutons, parmigiana cheese slivers, and cured akule (local fish) flakes. Dressings include Passion Fruit Vinaigrette (Vegan & GF) Caesar Dressing, EVOO & Red Wine Vinegar.

Appetizer Station - Featuring Lychee Wood Smoked Local Marlin Dip, Taro Hummus (Vegan & GF) Fresh Made Local Uala (Sweet Potato Chips) Other pupus (appetizers) include Punaluʻu Farms Hoʻio salad (Hawaiian fern)

Side Dishes - Limu Ahi Poke with Ginger Soy Dressing, Poisson Cru, White Rice, Brown Rise, Taro Rolls with Apple Banana Butter, and Roasted Farmers Veggie Medley (Vegan & GF)

Hawaiian Inspired Desserts - To satisfy your sweet tooth we offer dessert options including a fresh, seasonal island fruit assortment, Ono Fruit Pie Ulu (breadfruit) Mango and Uala (locally grown sweet potato) and vegan Molokai sweet potato haupia pie made with Maui-grown macadamia nuts, coconut milk, honey and sea salt.
