Learn to E-Foil in Honolulu

Location: Waikiki, Oahu

Experience the thrill of surfing and foiling with the ease of a remote control. This water sport promises instant excitement, even for beginners. Our carefully selected stable boards and foils ensure a smooth learning curve, allowing you to stand and glide above the water swiftly. Perfect for those new to water sports, no prior surfing experience is required.

What to Expect

E-Foil lessons kick off with an in-depth training session on land, where you’ll receive a comprehensive safety briefing. Using our state-of-the-art balance board simulator, you'll practice stabilizing your center of gravity and maneuvering the eFoil in three different positions: lying prone, kneeling, and standing.

You'll also learn to operate the Bluetooth eFoil remote and master techniques to fall safely without injury. Our session includes a thorough review of essential water and boating safety guidelines. To ensure your safety, we provide a CGA-approved life vest and a radio helmet, allowing for constant communication with your instructor.

Your water practice begins with non-foiling belly rides to help you get accustomed to the remote, learn to steer the board, and perform quick stops. Once you're comfortable, you'll progress to knee-riding turns, gradually increasing your speed to reach eFoiling levels.

Next, you’ll transition to a slow pop-up into a standing position. As you practiced on the balance board simulator, you'll carefully stand up and start eSurfing. You’ll work on making turns in both directions and finding the perfect stance on the board. This step is highly rewarding, giving you the exhilarating experience of gliding over water while standing!

After mastering basic maneuvering and speed control, you’ll advance to touch-and-go foiling. Once you’re comfortable with this, we’ll focus on achieving long, sustained eFoil rides.

By the end of the first 30-minute lesson, many students manage short, stable eFoil rides. Some may achieve longer, more sustained rides on their first day, while others might reach this milestone in their second lesson. It's important to progress at your own pace and skill level.

Water time is measured from when you hit the water and pauses during land breaks for rest and further training. Whether you book 30, 60, or 90 minutes of water time, we ensure you receive the full duration you’ve paid for.
