TOUR OPERATIONAL CHANGES:
The 1 hour, Scenic, and Sunset rides will operate in small groups. No larger than 10 people.
All other tours are already private.

STAFF:
Staff will have temperatures taken at the beginning of each shift.
The staff has also been instructed to stay home if they are not feeling well and or experiencing COVID like symptoms.
Our staff will wear masks and gloves during check-in, loading guests, and when guests need help from staff and unloading. During the horseback ride, masks may be removed so guests can hear the tour. CDC social distancing guidelines will be followed.
Our staff will only take guest photos from their phones

PRE-ARRIVAL:
If the answer is yes to any of these questions we kindly ask you to reschedule or cancel your reservation for the safety of other guests and our staff.
Are you experiencing a cough, shortness of breath or sore throat?
Have you experienced a fever in the last 48 hours?
We ask that for:
Horseback rides guests wear a mask during check-in, mounting and unmounting.
Off-road tours guests will wear masks through the duration of the tour. Masks can be removed temporarily for pictures.

CHECK-IN:
Reservations are required. No walk-ins permitted
Guests will be assigned a picnic table (private to their party) to wait for their tour. Guests will be able to sign waivers on-site.
Masks are required to protect yourself and our staff. If you don’t have a mask you may purchase one for $5.
Be aware of others’ personal space - avoid hugs, kisses, and handshakes
Wait at your check-in picnic table until you are called to mount your horse.

CLEANING:
We have increased cleaning procedures throughout our areas as well as added more sanitation stations.
We have increased our frequency of cleaning gear.
Tack is sanitized between rides
Reins and helmets are sanitized before and after each use
Off-Road Tour vehicles will be sanitized between tours.

Sunset Horseback Ride

Watch the pastel colors of the sunset skies pop with oranges, yellows, and reds while the refreshing cool mountain breeze gently blows .

The Sunset Horseback Ride on Oahu, Hawaii is a 1.5 hr guided experience. This ride goes out in the cooler portion of the day and riders experience the beautiful Hawaiian sunset skies while on horseback. This is a walking only ride and no trotting or cantering will be allowed. This is a great ride for the whole family. This ride is suitable for all skill levels ages 7 and up. No pregnant riders will be allowed. Our weight limit for any rider is 240 lbs.

This ride winds through mountain trails with occasional ocean views. The highlight spot is our scenic lookout which provides a great view of the Windward side of Oahu. This is a great picture taking spot so bring your camera. We work to keep our ride sizes small because we want our guest to feel like they have experienced a true Paniolo (Hawaiian Cowboy) horseback ride. Guests are likely to see wild pigs, cattle, and other horses roaming through our mountain trails.

Private Campfire Sunset Dinner Upgrade

Enjoy a private dinner around a campfire after your sunset horseback ride with this upgrade option.

Dinner will be warm and waiting for you at the campfire when the weather allows. If the weather isn’t cooperating to let you enjoy dinner at the lookout, we bring you back in and let you eat under the shelter of our covered pavilion.

Dinner consists of locally catered steak and shrimp, local fruit, rice, s’mores, water, and a Hawaiian Sun fruit drink. You’re welcome to cook marshmallows over the campfire and enjoy the evening in a more relaxed setting for approximately 45 minutes. After dinner, your Wrangler helps get you mounted back on your horse and guides you back home. Enjoy riding back under the light of dusk on this fantastic Oahu trail ride.


Requirements

  • Minimum 2 riders.
  • Arrive 30 minutes before your ride time for check-in
  • No pregnant riders allowed.
  • Must weigh less than 240lbs
  • 15 minute Safety Briefing and Mounting time

Unfortunately, if you miss the 15-minute safety briefing you will not be able to ride. Please plan ahead so you are not late.

Cancellation Policy

Rescheduling/Cancellation (with more than 24 hours): -We will reschedule rides based on availability. Rides that can not be rescheduled will receive a full refund. There is a minimum of two riders for this ride. If this minimum is not met, we will contact you to reschedule. You may choose to pay an additional $25 to make it a private ride.

Rescheduling/Cancellation (with LESS than 24 hours): 50% of your booking is non-refundable if booking is canceled or changed with less than 24 hours notice. No refund will be given up to 2 hours before your ride.

Reschedules with less than 24 hours can be accommodated when possible with a fee of 25% of the price paid for the ride being cancelled. Because we are closed on Sundays, cancellations for Monday rides must be made by Saturday at 5:00 pm.

Late Arrival: We are unable to hold the ride for you and you will miss your ride. A 25% fee will be assessed if you would like to be put on another tour. It is your responsibility to ensure you have proper directions to our location. Please use the directions given in the booking confirmation and GPS our address found above.Please allow yourself ample time to reach us. Please give yourself an additional 15 min due to traffic and construction.

No Shows: Will not be given a refund. This includes missing your ride due to being late and we were unable to hold the ride for you.

Rainy Day Cancellation: We plan to ride rain or shine. In the event, we cancel a ride due to conditions we feel are unsafe for our trails, no charges will be applied and a full refund will be issued. If a party calls in to cancel their ride because they don’t want to ride in the rain, and we plan to carry out the ride, no refund will be given.
