In ancient Hawaii, royalty used to celebrate the local culture and special occasions by organizing feasts of mea'ai (food), hula (dance), and mele (songs). The word luau came from one of the foods served at the feast. Mele Luau pays tribute to the culture of Hawaii with authentic food, dances and songs of Hawaii and Polynesia. Enjoy a lei greeting, welcome drink, pupus, and pre show activities before you experience a Samoan cooking demonstration in an umu.

Pre-show activities are enjoyed by all ages. With the best food of any luau, the feast of traditional luau food with some vegetarian specials and children’s favorites is sure to please. The bar has tropical favorites, wine and local craft beer. The show is a Polynesian Love Story with traditional dances including the Hula, Haka, Siva, and Otea, spectacular fireknife dancing, and some special surprises.
