Friday Night Lights Photography Tour By:  Oahu Photography Tours

Book now!

Our Friday Night Lights photography tour on Oahu will guide you through a 4 hour adventure of light. Through the drama of sunset casting color over unique cloud formations over the Waikiki skyline to photographing a fun fireworks show, you’ll learn how to use your camera at any time of day. A simple long exposure technique is taught on this Hawaii photo tour, giving you not only memories and quality photos to take home with you, but new skills to carry into the future.

Did we mention we’ll be venturing into Kaka’ako? This emerging epicenter for Hawaii’s urban-island culture is full of artistic murals and visual storytelling. The inspiring atmosphere is perfectly contagious! Here, you’ll photograph large murals composed as narratives rooted in Hawaiian cultural values. At this stop, we take advantage of the lowlight and rich content available to teach you how to use a long exposure technique on your camera to make the artwork pop in your photos.

We will end this night photo journey with a new photo genre of steel-wool photography. We could explain what it is exactly but its better to witness this in person.

Don’t worry, shooting in low light may be intimidating but we’ll teach you how to use your camera to play with light and darkness and to take stellar photos during darker times of the day. It’s easier than you might think! You’ll be able to carry these techniques and skills with you into the future, and the photographs you’ll capture from this photo tour will astonish you! This is one of the most unique things in Hawaii to do.
