What to Expect
Every winter, the waters off the Kona Coast become the home of thousands of North Pacific humpback whales. Once underway, your captain and crew search for these whales while sharing fascinating insights into their annual migration, behaviors, and the remarkable journey that brings them to Hawaii each year.
When whales are spotted, the pace naturally slows as everyone gathers along the rails to watch for tail slaps, playful calves, powerful breaches, and the gentle movements that make every encounter unique. Between sightings, underwater hydrophones allow you to listen to the haunting songs of nearby humpback whales, a powerful reminder that an entirely different world exists just below the surface. Our main office is located in the ‘Ilima Court’, it is the closest free parking to the pier, and where you will park for all of our adventures. It is about a five minute walk down to the pier from our office.
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure for check in. Refunds are not available for late arrivals.
Cancellation Policy
Parties of nine or less will receive full refund with 48 hours notice of cancellation. Parties of ten or more require 72 hours notice of cancellation for a full refund. Full refunds will be given in case of operator cancellation.
