What to Expect
Your morning begins at Kailua Pier as the Kanoa II glides away from the Kona coastline and into the deep blue Pacific. Breakfast is served on board while the crew shares stories about the island and guests scan the water for spinner dolphins, which are often spotted surfing the boat's wake on the journey north.
When Red Hill comes into view, you'll understand why it's considered one of Kona's hidden snorkeling gems. Accessible only by boat, the protected reef is surrounded by crystal-clear water where schools of tropical fish shimmer above colorful coral formations below. Once in the water, it's easy to lose track of time as sea turtles, reef fish, and ever-changing underwater scenery pull your attention in every direction. For those looking to mix in a little excitement, the catamaran's waterslide and high-dive platform offer a different way to enjoy the ocean between snorkeling sessions.
After a full morning in the water, lunch is served as the Kanoa II turns back toward Kona. Relax in the shade, stretch out in the ocean breeze, and watch the coastline slowly drift by. Our main office is located in the ‘Ilima Court’, it is the closest free parking to the pier, and where you will park for all of our adventures. It is about a five minute walk down to the pier from our office.
Please arrive 30 minutes prior to departure for check in. Refunds are not available for late arrivals.
Cancellation Policy
Parties of nine or less will receive full refund with 48 hours notice of cancellation. Parties of ten or more require 72 hours notice of cancellation for a full refund. Full refunds will be given in case of operator cancellation.
