Kona Manta Ray Night Snorkel

Location: Kona, Big Island

Manta Ray night snorkel is a MUST DO while in Hawaii. It’s an opportunity of a lifetime to see manta rays feeding and interacting with other ocean creatures under the neon lights. You will be able to snorkel and get close to these graceful animals.

What to Expect

We depart from Honokohau Harbor and motor down the coastline to Manta Bay where we will anchor our boat for the manta ray night snorkel.

Once we arrive we will deploy our custom made light raft into the ocean. The light raft sends off beams of UV light which will attract the plankton from the ocean floor. This plankton is the food source of the Manta Rays. As the plankton gathers near our light raft we will invite you to swim off the back of our boat and hold onto the floating light raft for an experience of a lifetime!

Right before your eyes the manta rays with come speeding through the beams of light as they feed on the plankton. All you have to do is hold onto the raft and float in the water to enjoy this effort-less, but incredibly awe-inspiring experience of swimming with manta rays.

Afterwards, you will climb back onto the boat to enjoy snacks and drinks
