  • Swim beneath a private waterfall during a mid-tour break
  • Finish with a muddy group ride through "The Pit"

Quick Local Tip: Don't avoid the puddles, aim for them! Recent rain often creates the best mud conditions, and the messiest riders usually end up with the biggest smiles and the best photos by the end of the tour.

What to Expect

After a quick orientation and practice session, you'll climb aboard your ATV or Side-by-Side and hit the trails above the Hamakua Coast. The first few turns build confidence as ocean views and rolling green hills begin to appear beyond the handlebars. It doesn't take long before the nerves fade and the fun takes over.

As the ride continues, the trails become rougher, muddier, and more adventurous. You'll splash through puddles, navigate winding backcountry tracks, and climb into parts of the property where sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, rainforest valleys, and the Umauma River suddenly open up around you. Before long, the focus shifts from calculated driving to letting it rip while laughing your way through the course.

Midway through the adventure, the engines go quiet as you arrive at a private waterfall and swimming hole tucked deep within the property. After the excitement of the trail, the cool water feels especially refreshing as you enjoy a local snack and take in the scenery. 

Back on the ATVs, there's one final stretch of muddy trail before reaching "The Pit," where riders can let loose and enjoy the most playful section of the course. As the ride comes to an end, you'll leave with a side of the Hamakua Coast that few visitors ever get to experience.

Requirements

  • No history of neck or back injury.
  • Cannot be pregnant.
  • Must wear closed toe shoes, pants and shirt.
  • Passengers 4-11 years old must ride with parent/guardian in SXS. 
  • Max weight for drivers: 350 lbs. Max weight for back seat passengers: 250 lbs.
  • All drivers must have a valid driver’s license and present it at check-in. (permits do not count)
  • ATV Drivers must be 16+ with parental permission and accompanied by parents or guardian on tour.
  • SXS Drivers must be 18+
  •
