What to Expect

After a safety briefing and gear fitting, you'll ease into the course with a series of long dual ziplines that quickly replace nervous anticipation with excitement. From the very first launch, sweeping views of waterfalls, lush rainforest, and the distant Pacific Ocean set the tone for what's ahead.

As the course unfolds, each line reveals a new perspective of the Umauma River and the dramatic landscape it has carved through the Hamakua Coast. You'll soar above cascading waterfalls, cross a suspension bridge suspended high over a lava tube and fern grotto, and pause at scenic overlooks where hidden waterfalls and distant views of Mauna Kea come into focus. With every platform, the scenery grows bigger and the rides become more memorable.

The final stretch delivers the tour's signature moments as you glide above the waterfalls that made Umauma famous. Long, fast lines carry you across river valleys and directly over rushing water, creating the sensation of flying through a landscape few visitors ever see from above. By the time you reach the final platform, you'll have crossed one of Hawaii's most scenic zipline courses, linking waterfalls, rainforest, ocean views, and adventure into a single unforgettable ride.

Requirements

• Ages 4 yrs. and up
• Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Weight: 35 lbs. min – 275 lbs. max
• Rain-wear will be provided in the event of wet weather.
• Closed-toe footwear, tied back long hair, Glasses secured with a strap
• Must be able to climb 3 flights of stairs and walk for short distances.
• Pregnant women, those with serious medical conditions, and prior back and neck injuries are not permitted to participate.
