Located within the ahupua’a or traditional Hawaiian land division of Ku’ia, which lies in the moku (district) of Lāhaina, our farm began to take shape. Ten acres at a time, it was transformed into a verdant green by water flowing from the wao akua (literally “realm of the gods”) located in the upper reaches of Mauna Kahālāwai, more commonly known as the West Maui Mountains. We now have more than 8,000 trees spread across 20+ acres, expanding to more than 60 within the next few years. Our farm provides the raw material for our world-class chocolate.
