Quick Local Tip: Before jumping in, check which way the wind is blowing. It almost always matches the surface current at Turtle Canyons. Swim just a little up-current of the group and you’ll stay right over the main reef; most people don’t realize they’ve floated off the canyon until the turtles disappear from beneath them.

What to Expect

Departing from Kewalo Basin Harbor, just a few minutes outside Waikiki, where you’ll be warmly welcomed by our enthusiastic crew with high spirits. After a quick orientation and gear fitting, you'll be escorted to step board "The Lola," a spacious 40ft Corinthian pontoon style Catamaran. As you motor towards Turtle Canyon Reef, the upbeat party music playlist is in full effect while you enjoy stunning panoramic views of Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head. We'll turn down the music while the knowledgable crew shares fascinating local history and marine biology insights during a narrative tour of your surroundings.

Arriving at Turtle Canyons, the action truly begins! Dive into the clear waters with guidance from our professional snorkel guides. Explore vibrant coral reefs teeming with colorful fish and watch Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles glide gracefully by. Our crew will be in the water with you, pointing out various marine creatures and ensuring a safe, enjoyable experience so you don't miss a thing. 

Non-swimmers are welcome on this inclusive tour! Even if you have never been in the ocean but want to give it a try, our accommodating crew is trained to assist swimmers of all levels. We'll load you up with various flotation devices and jackets and swim near you while in the water. And if you prefer to stay dry, we also offer ride-along tickets for guests to relax on the boat, soak up the Hawaiian sun, and enjoy the lively atmosphere as you spot marine creatures from above.

As you leisurely sail back to harbor, enjoy snacks and cold refreshments. This is often where you might catch sight of playful dolphins or even whales, adding an extra splash of excitement to your adventure. Cancellation Policy

Prior to booking, please note that we enforce a strict 48 hour cancellation/reschedule policy. For any booking, rescheduling without incurring any fees or cancellations must be made by the customer forty-eight (48) hours before the event in order to receive a full refund. No refund will be issued for cancellations with less than 48 hours notice, for any reason. In the event that rescheduling is not possible, no refund will be issued with less than 48 hours notice. If the cancellation is outside of the 48-hour cancellation window, the customer may reschedule within (24) hours for a rescheduling fee of $40 per person. Customers will receive a full refund or reschedule for no fee if operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
