😷 Health & Safety

  1. We encourage all guests to pre-sign in, use an online waiver, pre-purchase items so that we limit checking in on hand to hand devices. However, for those that check in on site, we will check in outside, and wipe down iPad devices between guests.
  2. When guests arrive, we ask that they wear masks upon arrival. We will be screening outside the marina store using a temporal thermometer, complete verbal symptom checklist to identify symptoms outlined by the CDC and ask that each person use hand sanitizer before boarding the boat.
  3. Guest will be asked to fill out contact information if we do not have enough on file for contact tracing.
  4. Guest will be asked to continue to wear mask until we are all on board and underway, unless actively eating and consuming beverages.
  5. We have moved our lunch service to pre-packaged sandwiches and offer for guests to take away lunches if so desired.
  6. Our snorkel gear will be disinfected in front of each guest before each person uses the gear.
  7. Groups and family will have group spaces in designated areas on the boat.
  8. On board disinfectant stations for masks will be available if guest have the desire to disinfect their gear again.
  9. As always, we will take the time between each tour to wash down our boats, including sanitizing, wiping railings, tables, the bar and re-setting food and beverage service.

Catamaran: 20 maximum passengers, we are adhering to state and local mandated tier systems.

Ko'Olina Catamaran Snorkel Sail

The Ko'Olina Catamaran Sail & Snorkel Tour includes a Hawaii dolphin excursion watching the fun and acrobatic spinner dolphins from the catamaran, plus 2 snorkel sites, a tropical reef teeming with Hawaiian reef fish and exotic ocean creatures, and a snorkel with the friendly Hawaiian green sea turtles of “Turtle Town”.

Seasonal whale watching is also included on your snorkel tour.

During your shoreline sail, your friendly and knowledgeable captain and crew will be on the lookout for a viewing encounter with the playful and entertaining Hawaiian spinner dolphins and majestic, seasonal Alaskan humpback whales (December thru March).

Your captain will choose from three fabulous west Oahu snorkel reefs, each teeming with tropical reef fish, exotic ocean wildlife and frequent visits from a variety of rays.

Both snorkel sites offers you a rare opportunity to encounter amazing and friendly green-sea turtles up close, they are natural turtle cleaning stations where algae-eating tropical reef fish clean their shells and skins.


Catamaran Itinerary

First Stop – Dolphin and Seasonal Whale WatchingDuring your shoreline sail, your friendly and knowledgeable captain and crew will be on the lookout for a viewing encounter with the playful and entertaining Hawaiian spinner dolphins and majestic, seasonal Alaskan humpback whales (December thru March).

First Snorkel Site – Tropical Reef Fish and A Variety of Exotic OceanlifeYour captain will choose from three fabulous west Oahu snorkel reefs, each teeming with tropical reef fish, exotic ocean wildlife and frequent visits from a variety of rays.

Second Snorkel Site – The Friendly Green Sea Turtles of “Turtle Town”This snorkel site offers you a rare opportunity to encounter amazing and friendly green-sea turtles up close at “Turtle Town”, a natural turtle cleaning station where algae-eating tropical reef fish clean their shells and skins.


Lunch is Included

A Hawaiian style lunch is served on the catamaran after your second snorkel site and consist of: teriyaki chicken or hawaiian pulled pork sandwiches, lettuce and tomato condiments, fresh mixed fruit, pasta salad, chips, soft drinks, and 2 alcoholic beverages per adult, veggie burgers are also available upon request. A muffin, hot tea or hot chocolate is also served before boarding on morning tours, a snack pack of chips and bottled water on midday tours.


SNUBA Available

We are now offering SNUBA during our Catamaran Snorkel Tour! This is the best way to get close to the marine life and stay underwater to take in the sights of our tropical reef. SNUBA divers breathe underwater by means of a 20 foot air line which is connected to a standard scuba tank. The tank is mounted on a raft on the surface that follows your every movement. The airline allows you to tour underwater near the bottom, at mid-water or on the surface depending on your level of comfort. There is no heavy diving gear.


The Boat

Holole’ a kai in hawaiian means “to sail freely and with adventure on the ocean.” Set sail from the world-class Ko Olina Resort and Marina for a four hour sail and snorkel tour on this beautiful, swift and comfortable 53 ft. Gold Coast Catamaran along leeward Oahu’s panoramic coast and its vistas of beautiful beaches, mountains and valleys. It features a cushioned suntan deck, teak bar, restrooms and a outdoor fresh water rinse off.
