Can you land the kayak or SUP at Captain Cook Monument? We do not provide landing permits that allow you to beach the kayaks at the Captain Cook Monument or anywhere in Kealakekua Bay. Only the Hawaii County Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR)  can issue these and they are very difficult to obtain. Industry standard has become snorkeling off the side of the kayak. We'll provide you with a tow rope to hold onto while towing the light weight kayak. It's easy and works well.
