What to Expect

At Ala Wai Boat Harbor, the crew greets you right on the dock right behind the Prince Waikiki Hotel with warm aloha before guiding you aboard the catamaran. Once you’ve found a spot to relax, snorkel gear is handed out and the crew makes sure it fits comfortably.

The lines are cast off, music drifts over the deck, and Waikiki’s skyline comes into view behind you while the green slopes of Diamond Head rise ahead. The sail to Turtle Canyon is smooth and scenic, giving you time to snap photos or simply enjoy the trade winds.

When the catamaran reaches the reef, the crew drops anchor and gathers everyone for a short snorkeling briefing including pointing out where turtles are often spotted, explaining reef safety, and introducing the safety divers who will be in the water alongside you.

The water staircase is lowered, and you step into the warm Pacific.
