Goat Yoga Class in Anahola Kauai

Stretch, laugh, and connect in the heart of Anahola with this joyful goat yoga experience led by a local host and a playful herd of miniature goats. Rooted in aloha and surrounded by sacred mountains, this class is more than yoga—it’s a moment of pure island magic.

What to Expect

Set on a quiet farm tucked beneath the sacred Kalalea Mountains—locally known as the “sleeping giant”—this unique experience begins with a warm welcome from your host, Kaala Clarke. Born and raised on this land, Kaala introduces guests to the deep cultural roots of Anahola, one of Kaua‘i’s ancient ahupua‘a, and shares the spiritual significance of the ʻāina (land) you're about to practice on.

As the sun filters through the trees and the breeze carries the scent of plumeria, a sudden burst of energy draws everyone's attention—the goats have arrived. Charging over a hill with joyful bleats and eager hops, the miniature herd makes their entrance, ready to join the session. Each goat has a name, a personality, and a mission: to make you smile. From Simon’s swagger to Sweetie’s snuggles, their presence brings a lighthearted energy to the entire practice.

The yoga portion lasts about 30–45 minutes and is accessible to all levels, from curious beginners to practiced yogis. There’s no pressure here, goats don’t care how flexible you are. The focus is on connection, laughter, and presence. Occasionally, a goat might climb onto your back during downward dog or nuzzle your side in child’s pose, creating spontaneous moments of joy and groundedness.

After the class, guests have time to hang out with the goats, snap memorable photos, and browse the converted goat merch bus, featuring local specialties, handmade items, and playful souvenirs. The entire experience lasts about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Whether you’re traveling solo, with family, or as a group of friends, this goat yoga class offers a truly unexpected and uplifting way to experience the beauty and mana of Kaua‘i.
