Napali Coast Snorkel Catamaran Sail

Kauai's world famous Napali Coast is the most beautiful and remote stretch of coastline in the main Hawaiian islands. With red and green mountains shooting straight up into the sky, countless sea caves, lush jungle valleys filled with waterfalls, the beautiful sites of Napali inspire awe in all those who view it.

And a vacation on Kauai is not complete without seeing it yourself. That is why we have created our popular 5 hour Napali Snorkel and Sailing Adventure. This tour gets you right up close to the action with the wind in your face as we sail the coastline to our anchorage. Once the anchor is set, you will be invited to snorkel some of the healthiest coral reef in all of Hawaii in calm protected conditions.

*Please book early as tours often fill up 3-5 days in advance. Booking your tour early in your vacation window is a good idea in case weather forces us to postpone your tour.

*For safety, no children under 6 years of age or pregnant women allowed on this tour.

What to Expect

Leaving Port Allen, located on the South Shore of Kauai, our stable 50ft state of the art sailing catamaran will head up towards the Napali Coast where we will enjoy sightseeing the untouched beaches, pristine valleys, sea caves, and waterfalls while our guides tell stories and history of the area.

We will be serving a continental breakfast during this portion of the tour.

Breakfast Includes

  • Scrambled Eggs with Sautéed Veggies
  • Assorted Fresh Baked Pastries
  • Mixed Tropical Fruit Platter (GF/V)
  • Beverages Include: Medium Roast Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate, Water, Assorted Soft Drinks and Island Juices

Next, we will find calm anchorage for snorkeling. The snorkeling location will depend on the conditions as the Captain has expert knowledge of the area and its numerous snorkeling locations to provide you with the best experience.

Because of the Napali Coast's sheer remoteness, the coral reef is the healthiest in Hawaii attracting a variety of marine life such as tropical fish, green sea turtles, spotty eagle rays, eels, and even the occasional pod of dolphins.

After snorkeling, we raise the sails and enjoy a smooth sail back towards the harbor. Our sailing catamaran is known to hit speeds of 20mph during this sometimes thrilling downwinder. But don't worry, when the wind is at your back the catamaran is smooth and easy to walk around on. This is true tradewind sailing in Hawaii.

Enjoy a gourmet deli-style buffet lunch. Choose from a variety of deli meats, cheeses, veggies and breads to make your sandwich a work of art! Also included are pasta and fresh fruits. Assorted soft drinks are served throughout the tour, with beer and wine served after snorkeling. While you are eating we talk story about the island, the people and history of Niihau
