Learn to Scuba Dive on Kauai

We created this discovery dive for first time (non-certified) divers who want to get a taste of what it is like to scuba dive and experience the underwater ecosystems of Kauai. You do not need prior experience to join this dive as it is purely an introductory dive in the ocean.

Not only will you be learning the basics of scuba diving, but also get to learn in the ocean! This dive also makes a great refresher course for those who have not gone diving in over 2 years or if a certified diver would like to accompany a non-certified diver.

Sign up for our discovery intro scuba dive now, and learn what scuba diving is all about in a safe environment with a highly trained dive master as your instructor.

What to Expect

First time (non-certified) divers will experience the PADI Discover Scuba Diving program, which covers the fundamental rules and guidelines of safe scuba diving. If you would like to continue your education, this experience can also be applied toward your PADI Open Water Certification.

After a detailed, hands-on orientation, divers will enter shallow ocean dive sites from the shoreline and practice four basic scuba-related skills. These skills are designed to build confidence and to show you just how easy scuba diving really is.

After satisfactorily completing the skills portion of your lesson, you will continue further out and dive to a maximum depth of 40 feet under the direct supervision of our PADI instructors. Yes, it really is that simple!
