Niihau Island Snorkeling Catamaran

This is the ultimate adventure in the Hawaiian Island chain, a boat charter out along the Napali Coast and onward to the Forbidden Island of Niihau and snorkeling off it's neighboring Lehua Crater.

Locals regard Niihau and Lehua as the most remote area in all of Hawaii. Don't miss out on this exclusive opportunity to see it with your own eyes, and snorkel it's pristine reef in a safe and comfortable setting on one of the finest boats on Kauai.

*Please book early as tours often fill up 3-5 days in advance. Booking your tour early in your vacation window is a good idea in case weather forces us to postpone your tour.

*For safety, no children under 6 years of age or pregnant women allowed on this tour.

What to Expect

Leaving Port Allen, located on the South Shore of Kauai, our luxurious 65ft power catamaran will head up towards the Napali Coast where we will enjoy sightseeing the untouched beaches, pristine valleys, sea caves, and waterfalls while our guides tell stories and history of the area.

We will be serving a continental breakfast during this portion of the tour.

Breakfast Includes

  • Scrambled Eggs with Sautéed Veggies
  • Assorted Fresh Baked Pastries
  • Mixed Tropical Fruit Platter (GF/V)
  • Beverages Include: Medium Roast Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate, Water, Assorted Soft Drinks and Island Juices

Next, we head across the channel to the "Forbidden Island" of Niihau. When we arrive at Niihau your captain will choose our snorkel spot with the best conditions. Once chosen, our friendly and highly trained crew will assist you with snorkeling instructions to make sure your having a relaxing and enjoyable experience in the water.

Because Niihau / Lehua are the oldest of the islands in the chain, and had the most time for erosion to shape and carve the lava rock, they are the home to the most unique underwater lava formations such as lava tubes and arches. And because of the area sheer remoteness, the coral reef is the healthiest in Hawaii attracting a variety of marine life such as tropical fish, green sea turtles, spotty eagle rays, eels, and even the occasional pod of dolphins.

After snorkeling, enjoy a gourmet deli-style buffet lunch. Choose from a variety of deli meats, cheeses, veggies and breads to make your sandwich a work of art! Also included are pasta and fresh fruits. Assorted soft drinks are served throughout the tour, with beer and wine served after snorkeling. While you are eating we talk story about the island, the people and history of Niihau
