What to Expect

Your lesson begins with a relaxed introduction to surfing, where you'll learn the basics of paddling, popping up, wave selection, and ocean safety before heading to the beach. Then it's time to paddle into the warm waters of Poʻipū and put everything into motion as you begin catching your first waves.

Unlike many larger surf schools, your instructor stays right beside you throughout the lesson, helping position your board, choosing the right waves, and coaching you through every attempt. With gentle beginner-friendly surf and personalized guidance from start to finish, most guests are surprised by how quickly everything begins to click. Before long, you're on your feet, gliding toward shore with a smile that's hard to wipe away.

Semi-Private Lesson: Ages 10+
Ideal for couples, families, and small groups wanting more personalized coaching while sharing the experience together.

Private Lesson:Ages 6+
One-on-one instruction tailored to your pace. Great for young children, nervous beginners, or anyone wanting maximum wave time and individual attention.
