What to Expect

After your tour guide picks you up from your Kauai accommodation, the adventure begins!

First stop is Spouting Horn in Poipu, Kauai, a natural wonder lava tube that shoots seawater into the air through a narrow opening, creating a mesmerizing spout that can reach heights of up to 50 feet resulting in a dramatic hiss and a magnificent water display. With its commanding presence, natural acoustics, and stunning geothermal show, Spouting Horn in Poipu is a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts and seekers of awe-inspiring beauty.

Next we drive through Hanapepe Town. This charming and historic town captivates visitors with its timeless beauty and artistic flair. We drive along the picturesque main street lined with quaint buildings, art galleries, and charming boutiques, exuding a nostalgic small-town atmosphere.

We'll then stop at the the Hanapepe Swinging Bridge, a beloved landmark, known for its playful and nostalgic charm. Suspended over a river, this pedestrian-only crossing offers a thrilling experience as it gently sways beneath your feet, allowing you enjoy the town's laid-back atmosphere with panoramic views of the river and surrounding lush landscapes.

We'll then stop for lunch at the Waimea Plantation Cottage restaurant to enjoy a delicious local meal before heading up the Waimea Canyon.

Our first stop is the Koke'e Lodge, sitting at 3,600 feet above sea level. The higher elevation contributes to a cooler and refreshing climate and a chance to experience the unique native forest mountainous environment of Kauai. The nature trail behind the lodge showcases pristine native forest, with towering trees, vibrant flora, and occasional glimpses of native species of birds.

We then drive to the Pu'u Hinahina Overlook. The view from the lookout reveals stunning layers of vibrant red and green cliffs, deep valleys, and the meandering Waimea River, creating a captivating display of natural beauty that earned it the nickname "Grand Canyon of the Pacific."

Back down at sea-level, we'll make a stop at the recently unveiled King Kaumuali‘i Statue at Pa‘ula‘ula, more commonly known as the Russian Fort. This historic site, offers a glimpse into the 19th-century Russian presence in Hawaii, showcasing remnants of the original fortification and providing insight into the island's geopolitical dynamics at the time.

Before taking you back to your hotel, we'll enjoy one final stop at the Kauai Coffee Plantation. Here you will see the entire coffee process from initial blossoming and harvesting to the final roasting. Sample the exclusive line of estate‐grown Hawaiian coffees while relaxing beneath the warm Hawaiian sun
