Oahu Sightseeing and Food Tour

Location: Waikiki, Oahu

Tour Highlights

Taste your way around Oʻahu as breathtaking views and bold island flavors come together in a "Beauty and the Feast" full-day adventure that’s as scenic as it is delicious.

  • Explore Oʻahu’s top coastal, mountain, and cultural landmarks in one day
  • Enjoy malasadas at Halona Blowhole and macadamia nut tastings at Tropical Farms
  • Visit Byodo-In Temple, Pali Lookout, Haleʻiwa, and Dole Plantation
  • Savor North Shore shrimp truck lunch options with vegetarian alternatives
  • Travel in a luxury small-group shuttle with expert local narration

Quick Local Tip: If you try anything at the fruit stands, make it the banana lumpia. Sweet local bananas wrapped in a thin pastry, fried until shatter-crisp, and served piping hot. Head to the stand on the far left (closest to the road); they’re the only ones who finish theirs with a brown sugar glaze, giving each bite that extra-crunchy, extra-sweet magic.

What to Expect

Set out from Waikīkī for a day of Oʻahu sightseeing told through famous landscapes and favorite local flavors. Your first taste comes at Halona Blowhole Lookout, where crashing Pacific views pair with a warm, sugar-dusted Leonard’s malasada before the journey continues along the rugged southeastern coast.

Climb into the Koʻolau Mountains for the windswept views and Hawaiian history of Nuʻuanu Pali Lookout, then enter the peaceful grounds of Byodo-In Temple. As the route turns north, stop to sample local macadamia nuts and Kona coffee before reaching Kahuku, where the island’s famous shrimp trucks serve up garlic butter shrimp and other local favorites for lunch (purchased separately).

Spend the afternoon in historic Haleʻiwa, combining North Shore surf-town scenery with another Hawaiʻi favorite: Matsumoto Shave Ice. Browse local shops, explore at your own pace, and enjoy the easygoing atmosphere of one of Oʻahu’s most recognizable small towns.

The final stop brings another landscape and flavor together at Dole Plantation, where Oʻahu’s pineapple-growing history meets the famously refreshing Dole Whip. By the return to Waikīkī, you’ll have tasted your way around the island while seeing many of the coastlines, mountain lookouts, towns, and cultural landmarks that define Oʻahu.
