Ko'Olina to Pearl Harbor Tour

Location: West Oahu, Oahu

Get your Pearl Harbor Tour tickets and stand at ground zero of the surprise attack that drew America into World War II. Gaze up at a crystal-blue sky once filled with enemy planes. History was made in this place on December 7, 1941. It began as a quiet Sunday morning. Now that date, as President Roosevelt said, will forever “live in infamy.”

Salute to Pearl Harbor

Our Salute to Pearl Harbor tour immerses you in sights, sounds and personal stories. Your guide will provide helpful and fascinating historical and cultural background. You’ll never forget your visit to the WWII Valor of the Pacific National Monument and USS Arizona Memorial. And we will provide the entry tickets and convenient transportation.

You’ll feel the power of this sacred place upon entering the Pacific Historic Parks Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. Here you’ll witness rare artifacts and multimedia displays. They explain what happened before, during and after the aerial attack. The assault killed more than 2,400 American sailors, soldiers, marines that fateful day.

Look across the harbor’s blue waters at Ford Island, the center of the assault, and you’ll imagine the chaos and madness.

Soon you’ll travel across the harbor by shuttle boat and step onto the USS Arizona Memorial. You’ll pause in tribute to those who gave their lives. This graceful monument built over the remains of the sunken ship provides a moving tribute. Oil from the Arizona continues seeping to the surface. These “black tears” serve as poignant reminders of America’s great loss.

Anchored nearby is the USS Missouri, which faithfully watches over the sunken Arizona. Imperial Japan formally surrendered to the Allies in 1945 aboard the “Mighty Mo.” That somber ceremony in Tokyo Bay brought World War II in the Pacific to a close.

Pearl Harbor Remembered Tour (USS Missouri Package)

Add the USS Missouri Battleship to your day with our Pearl Harbor Remembered Tour.

By taking our Pearl Harbor Remembered Tour, you’ll experience the symbolic “bookends” of World War II in the Pacific. First you’ll visit the USS Arizona Memorial. This graceful structure spans the sunken battleship, whose bombing on December 7, 1941, propelled America into the war. Later, you’ll visit the restored USS Missouri battleship. This is where Imperial Japan formally surrendered to the Allies on September 2, 1945.

Your guide for the Pearl Harbor Remembered Tour will share knowledge of and appreciation for these historic sites. Accordingly, you’ll always remember this excursion. We’ll handle all the details, including transportation, entrance fees and tickets. Just relax and come along for the ride.

In the early morning, we’ll head toward Pearl Harbor. Here you’ll explore the Pacific Historic Parks Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. By doing so, you’ll learn about events before, during and after the devastating attack. Tragically, more than 2,400 American sailors, soldiers, marines and civilians perished that day.

Next we’ll take a shuttle boat to the USS Arizona Memorial. This is where visitors from around the world pause to reflect while gazing at the ruins of this battleship.

Later we’ll board the nearby USS Missouri, which stands watch over its sunken sister ship. Get ready to walk the vast deck and explore the incredible interior of this historic battleship. Here you’ll also learn about “Mighty Mo’s” wartime history. This includes serving as the site where Imperial Japan formally surrendered to the Allies in Tokyo Bay. As you explore this ship, you’ll see a signed copy of the surrender document that ended the war.

Upon leaving Pearl Harbor, your guide will take you through downtown Honolulu. As you do so, you’ll learn about Hawaii’s history as a monarchy, a territory and eventually America’s 50th state.

We’ll complete our tour by driving up to Punchbowl Crater. This is the home of the National Cemetery of the Pacific. Here, 38,000 markers pay tribute to the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces who sacrificed for their country.
