What to Expect

Depart Kewalo Harbor aboard a private 47-foot Cabo Express and head into deep blue water while the crew sets the trolling spread and searches for signs of offshore action.

When a fish hits, the mood changes fast. With guidance from the crew, step up to the rod and settle into the fight, working the fish toward the boat while everyone watches to see what eventually breaks the surface. Experienced anglers can get straight into the action, while first-timers receive hands-on instruction throughout the charter.

Between bites, settle into the air-conditioned cabin, grab a drink or snack, or relax on deck while trolling along Oʻahu’s south and west shores. Because the boat is reserved for your group, the day can feel as serious or laid-back as you want.

Full-day charters include a catered lunch onboard, and when the catch allows, the crew will prepare a portion of your fish to take home. Then cruise back toward Kewalo Harbor with Waikīkī coming into view and hopefully a few new fishing stories from the open Pacific.
