Private Waikiki Sunset and Fireworks Boat

Location: Waikiki, Oahu

Tour Highlights

Trade the crowds for a private sunset cruise along Waikīkī’s coastline, where vibrant hues of gold and crimson melt into the ocean and Friday night fireworks light up the sky in a dazzling, up-close display.

  • Enjoy a private 6-passenger sunset charter with zero crowds
  • Cruise Waikīkī’s coastline and Diamond Head with uninterrupted views
  • Bring your own drinks and snacks for personal refreshments
  • Choose your own music with onboard Bluetooth speakers
  • Catch Hilton’s Friday fireworks from the best seat in the bay
  • Relax into golden hour and post-sunset colors on a calm coastal ride

Quick Local Tip: As the sky darkens glance back toward the east. The moon often rises over the Koʻolau range or the slope of Diamond Head, so bright it feels like a second “show.” People on shore never see it because of Waikīkī’s skyline blocking the view, but from the boat it's glowing, and absolutely unreal.

What to Expect

You’ll meet your captain at Ala Wai Boat Harbor, where the crew will welcome you aboard and go over a short safety briefing. Once everyone’s comfortable and drinks are stashed (BYOB and snacks encouraged, just no glassware please), you’ll head out into the warm Pacific to cruise along O‘ahu’s southern coastline.

The boat hugs the shoreline, offering a breezy and beautiful perspective of Waikīkī, often referred to as the birthplace of modern surfing, and then continues toward the iconic slopes of Diamond Head Crater, a volcanic tuff cone formed about 300,000 years ago. Along the way, enjoy music of your choice using the boat’s Bluetooth speakers, or just soak in the ocean breeze and sunset skies.

In the winter months, the sunset happens earlier, allowing time to relax under the colorful post-sunset glow before heading toward the Hilton Hawaiian Village lagoon area. If you're booking on a Friday evening, you’ll be perfectly positioned to watch the weekly fireworks show light up the night sky without the crowds on shore or the chaos of big-group boats. The experience wraps up with a slow cruise back to the harbor under the stars.

Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just want a peaceful ocean escape, this private sunset charter delivers the kind of memorable evening that only comes with your own boat, your own music, and your own people.
