The tour begins at a private North Shore basecamp tucked into the hills above Haleʻiwa. After a safety briefing and vehicle orientation, you'll climb behind the wheel of a Kawasaki Mule and follow your guide into thousands of acres of private North Shore wilderness. With no more than three vehicles in each group, the ride feels personal as you tackle muddy trails, steep climbs, and rugged backcountry terrain.
The landscape changes constantly as you travel from dense jungle and wild fruit orchards to open ridgelines overlooking Haleʻiwa, the Waiʻanae Mountains, and Oʻahu's North Shore coastline. Along the way, your guide shares stories about the area's history, culture, and native landscape through the onboard communication system.
Midway through the adventure, stop at a private mountain overlook for panoramic views unavailable to the public. Depending on the season, you may even have the chance to sample fresh fruit growing along the trail before continuing your off-road journey through one of Oʻahu's most scenic private valleys.
