Quick Local Tip: You’ll fly directly over Kaʻena Point, the wild northwest tip of Oʻahu that’s only reachable by hiking because there are no roads around the point. From the air, the land opens up to reveal the entire West Side and North Shore in one sweeping view few people ever see.

What to Expect

Your adventure begins at Dillingham Airfield, located on the North Shore of Oahu, with a warm welcome from Jay Eisenberg, a veteran flight instructor with over two decades of aeronautical expertise.

After a brief orientation, you'll step aboard the 2022 AutoGyro MTO Classic, a marvel of aviation technology. As you ascend, the Oahu coastline unfolds beneath you, offering a spectacular view of the North Shore.

Feel the rush of the wind and the freedom of the skies as Jay expertly navigates the gyrocopter. You'll learn about the aircraft's unique features, such as its autorotation capability and its resilience in high winds and turbulence, ensuring a smooth and safe experience.

As you soar over the stunning landscapes, Jay will share insights about flight control, aerodynamics, and aviation safety. You'll have the opportunity to engage with the controls, feeling the exhilaration of piloting this remarkable aircraft.

As your 30-minute journey nears its end, you'll glide gently back to the ground, filled with awe and a deeper appreciation for the art of flight.

Requirements

  • Children must be at least 8 years old.
  • No loose articles (water bottles, cell phones, etc) in the Gyrocopter
  • One passenger at a time. Couples or families, will be taken up one-by-one.
  • Long sleeves for comfort is recommended

Cancellation Policy

You may change or cancel your reservation with absolutely no charge to you if you let us know 48 hours or more before your scheduled flight(s). If you cancel your flight(s) within the 48 hour window, we will charge your credit card for the full amount of the flight(s) booked if we are unable to fill your time slots. If we can find someone to take your slots on short notice, we will not charge you.
