What to Expect

Guests arrive at the dive shop at Aloha Tower, Honolulu two hours before flight time. The energy is high, and the team, many of them former Navy SEALs, gets everyone checked in and briefed. A designated area is available to stow away anything guests don’t want to jump with. From here, the experience begins to feel less like a tour and more like a training mission.

Each participant is suited up in a buoyant wetsuit and issued sanitized slippers for the tarmac. After a detailed rundown of the day's itinerary and safety procedures from the lead instructor, referred to as the Cast Master (highly trained in helicopter passenger insertion and extraction) the group boards a shuttle for a short ride to the helicopters hangar. There, guests have time to explore the facility, and prepare mentally for the jump ahead.

At the helipad, the pilot delivers the official FAA safety briefing before a final rehearsal of the jump technique. Once ready, guests board the doors-off helicopter and lift off into the Hawaiian sky. The ride soars past Waikiki, with sweeping aerial views of the coastline and Diamond Head in the distance. The helicopter circles over the drop zone, where the dive boat is waiting below.

Once given clearance by the Cast Master, guests exit the helicopter—one by one—leaping from heights ranging from 10 to 65 feet, depending on comfort and safety conditions. Professional safety swimmers are stationed in the water to assist and guide each jumper to the boat. After the full group completes the jump, they’re welcomed aboard and prepped for the next stage: snorkeling or a no experience necessary beginner-friendly scuba dive.

With masks on and tanks secured (for scuba divers), guests are guided into a thriving underwater environment. Schools of tropical fish, coral gardens, and possibly even sea turtles fill the scene. The dive site is carefully selected for visibility and marine life, ensuring a memorable experience below the surface.

Following the in-water session, guests enjoy snacks, drinks, and stories aboard the boat during the return to harbor, an opportunity to swap adrenaline-fueled memories with fellow adventurers. It's the kind of experience that lingers long after your feet are back on solid ground.
