Sail Ko Olina’s coast in pure, uncrowded comfort aboard a luxury 46-foot catamaran, where smooth water, attentive crew, and intimate dolphin-spotting set the tone for a refined yet adventurous morning at sea. With only six guests aboard, every moment feels personal, quiet, and effortlessly upscale.
Quick Local Tip: The return sail is usually a gentle downwinder, which means the ride smooths out beautifully. It’s the perfect moment to head up to the bow net to lounge with someone you love and a cold drink in hand, stretch out in the sun, and let the catamaran glide you home in total comfort.
The tour begins at Ko Olina Marina with a warm welcome from the professional captain and crew of the 46-foot luxury sailing catamaran designed for comfort and open-water cruising. With only six guests aboard, the spacious layout immediately sets the tone for a personalized and uncrowded experience. As the yacht departs the harbor and heads north along Oʻahu’s leeward coastline, the towering Wai‘anae Mountains rise in the background while the deep blue Pacific stretches endlessly ahead.
As the catamaran cuts through calm morning waters, guests can relax on wide cushioned loungers, enjoy refreshments, or keep an eye out for marine life. Hawaiian spinner dolphins are frequently seen swimming alongside the hull, and during winter months (November through March), humpback whales often breach and slap the water in dramatic displays. Other possible sightings include pilot whales, flying fish, and sea turtles.
The boat eventually moors at a calm snorkeling spot chosen for water clarity and marine diversity. After a safety briefing and gear fitting, guests are invited to dive in and explore the underwater landscape. Vibrant tropical fish dart among coral heads, and green sea turtles often glide gracefully through the water. For those who prefer to stay closer to the surface, inner tubes and floatation belts are available for a more leisurely swim.
Once everyone’s had their fill of the sea, it’s time to unwind on deck with a freshly prepared lunch. The menu includes gourmet wraps, seasonal fruit, and local-style chips all served alongside a selection of complimentary beverages including soft drinks, juices, and a variety of alcoholic options. The return sail offers more time to stretch out, take in the coastal views, and soak in the laid-back luxury that defines this premium snorkeling cruise.
