Big Island

The Big Island is BIG! With 4,028 Square Miles it makes up 62% of the Hawaiian Island Chain’s entire area. Hosting the world’s most active volcano at the Volcano National Park, snow capped mountains, incredible scuba diving, 400ft waterfalls, black sand beaches (and green sand beaches) it is known as the rugged island. It is so rugged that the volcano is currently creating more landmass as roaring lava enters the ocean! The Big Island is the perfect destination for the adventurous visitor who doesn’t necessarily need a perfect white sand beach but instead craves the raw power of Hawaii.
